More and more I feel like I’m pushing off the side of the pool and backstroking out into the twinkling abyss. When I’m in fear? I feel crazy. But when I’m in joy? I am in awe.

I just stood there staring, studying them. Motionless. Waiting to hear a scream or stutter from another customer or employee when they were no longer distracted and finally saw what I was seeing.

When did the word responsible become society’s new scarlet letter? As if taking responsibility means shaming ourselves, accepting blame, or giving up freedom.

If it makes your heart sing, then you are dancing in your divine healing potential and contributing to the joy of all mankind. We cannot be in our authentic state and not inspire others on some level.

Sometimes what's best for us in the moment looks like an unhealthy choice or a copout to others. I’m still learning to make peace with that and trust my gut anyways- opinions be damned!
