More Resources and Less Wellness

Question- Why does it feel like there’s more loneliness and separation around the world while topics like wellness and mental health are being discussed and prioritized more than ever?

Guardians- There is a collecting of answers and categorizing rather than sinking into experience.

Experience is what you came for.
Experience is the greatest teacher because experience is in an eternal state of learning.

Concrete answers and the search for an ultimate truth are a losing game.

Instead, chase understanding like a dog biting at car tires. They’ll never catch the car but they love the chase.

The more you understand, the more you will understand you do not understand but the more fun you will have chasing after it.

That is actually what brings you joy.

That is actually what frees you from despair and monotony.
The sound of another car to chase.

After all lets face it, you came here knowing you were going to die. Nonetheless, you brush your teeth. You eat. You cut your hair and pick out clothes. You collect art and memories. You share food with people you love, you celebrate their births and grieve their leaving.

Talk about putting all the work in just to let it all go!

Experience is all there is.

Before sinking into feeling and experience and allowing it to alter your molecular makeup (because that’s exactly what it will do) it’s only human to say, “Why don’t you just tell me? I don’t want to guess, I don’t want to feel foolish, I don’t want to start again, why don’t you just tell me and end the suspense?”

That is where you feel the separation. That is where paralysis or what you call depression begins to weigh you down.
That is where it is easier to preach rather than live and do.

Staying in the head rather than sinking down down down into the heart, the belly, the legs, walking through the experience and feeling completely vulnerable to it until you walk out the other side lighter and larger than you entered and you say, “That was great! Let’s do that again!!”

It is tempting at times to stay in the head and say, “I already know it. I’m ready for my next task please.”

But we say, you’re missing the fun. You’re missing the point. And until you sink down and become soft in your experience and allow change to occur, you will harden and become rigid in your avoidance and you will struggle to connect with the world around you, the people and nature itself.

You are not separate from nature, and nature does not experience one winter and say, “Seen it.” She revisits and dies away over and over and over again. No winter being the same as the last. And this is what you are made to do as well, travelling these spirals over and over again.

You will circle around each time collecting a bouquet in your arms of more insight, more wisdom, but those flowers are also meant to die and new ones to be collected each time. Some almost identical, but never exactly the same.

A visual that may help with this is to imagine your left hand holding mastery and knowledge and your right holding innocence and wonder, throw them into the air and imagine the joy of juggling them, watching them dance around one another rising and falling.

When you become afraid, imagine this. This is all there is to do.

So you see when you surrender and throw your hands into the air in your darkest moments of defeat, you are actually so much closer to liberation and laughter than you think.

This is why The Fool is depicted as a jester and you will often see him juggling. He has walked into his own despair and thrown his hands up and tumbled out the other side into a fit of laughter juggling the paradoxes of the world which used to pin him down.

This is what it is to begin anew, as a child, into Spring.
